Abstract

We study the criticality and subcriticality of powers with of the discrete Laplacian acting on . We prove that these positive powers of the Laplacian are critical if and only if . We complement our analysis with Hardy-type inequalities for in the subcritical regimes . As an illustration of the critical case , we analyze asymptotic properties of discrete eigenvalues emerging by coupling with a localized potential.
