Finite groups with few average orders of subgroups

Abstract

For a finite group $G$, we define $X(G)=\{o(H)\mid H\le G\}$, where $o(H)$ is the average of all order elements in $H$. In this paper, we classify finite groups in which $|X(G)|\le 4$.
