Abstract

We use the Maurey factorization theorem to obtain a new characterization of $2$ -dominated operators on a product of $ℓ_{p}$ spaces. This new characterization is used to find the necessary and sufficient conditions for some diagonal operators on a product of $ℓ_{p}$ spaces to be $2$ -dominated.
