Limiting Vorticities for Superconducting Thin Films

Abstract

In the presence of applied magnetic fields $H_{ϵ}$ in the order of $H_{c_1}$ the first critical field, we determine the limiting vorticities of the minimal Ginzburg-Landau energy in superconducting thin films having varying thickness.
