Abstract
Using a Rellich–Pohozaev argument and Hardy's inequality, we derive an improved bound on the nonlinear eigenvalue for the non existence of radial solutions of a Brezis–Nirenberg problem, with Dirichlet boundary conditions, on a geodesic ball of , for .
