Abstract
Using the method of generalized characteristics, the authors investigate uniqueness and regularity of solutions of the Cauchy problem for a special system of hyperbolic conservation laws, with coinciding shock and rarefaction wave curves, arising in the theory of isotachophoresis.
Résumé
En utilisant la méthode des caractéristiques généralisées, on montre l’unicité et la régularité des solutions du problème de Cauchy pour un système hyperbolique de lois de conservation provenant de la théorie de l’électrophorèse.
