Asymptotic behavior of solutions of a semilinear heat equation with subcritical nonlinearity

Abstract

We consider the Cauchy problem for $u_t=\Delta u+u^p$ with $1+2/N<p$ and $(N-2)p<N+2$. We give a complete description of the asymptotic behavior of the positive solution.

Nous considérons le problème de Cauchy pour $u_t=\Delta u+u^p$ avec $1+2/N<p$ et $(N-2)p<N+2$. On donne une description complète de comportement asymptotique de la solution positive.
