A remark on multiplicity of solutions for the Ginzburg–Landau equation

Abstract

In this paper we study the structure of certain level set of the Ginzburg-Landau functional which has similar topology with the configuration space. As an application, we generalize Almeida–Bethuel's result on multiplicity of solutions for the Ginzburg–Landau equation.

Résumé

On étudie la structure de certains ensembles de niveau de la fonctionnelle du type Ginzburg–Landau qui ont des topologies similaires à celles de l’espace de configuration. Comme application, on généralise le résultat d’Almeida–Bethuel sur la multiplicité des solutions des équations de G–L.
