Abstract

In this paper we investigate the Stokes geometry of a perturbed tangential system of the Pearcey system to a hyperplane, in particular, the effect of a new kind of virtual turning point of the system that originates from its multiple-characteristic property at a non-hereditary turning point. We also study the activity of Stokes curves of the system by using the exact steepest descent method.
