Abstract

We study birational transformations $φ : P^{n} ⇢ \overline{φ (P^{n})} \subseteq P^{N}$ defined by linear systems of quadrics whose base locus is smooth and irreducible of dimension $\leq 3$ and whose image $\overline{φ (P^{n})}$ is sufficiently regular.
