Abstract
Twice interpolatory type quadrature formulas with adapted product integration have been used for solving Fredholm integral equations of the second kind, where the kernel function has discontinuities of the first kind along any continuous curve and weak singularities. The series of approximation operators developed by means of such quadrature formulas with the help of two recommended adaption principles are collectively compact, i.e. they give a convergent approximation method.
