If a one-term representation of solutions by a differential operator is known for a formally hyperbolic differential equation, then all solutions defined in a fundamental domain may be determined by means of an integro-differential operator. Moreover, the kernel of the integral operator, which yields the second part of the solution, may again be determined by differential operators. The application of this method is illustrated by several examples.
