Berlin, Germany – 22nd June 2021 The EMS and its publishing house, EMS Press, have recently launched a new high profile publication, the Memoirs of the European Mathematical Society.  The Memoirs will be published in individual volumes, focusing on long and comprehensive works which present significant progress within all areas of pure and applied mathematics. At a time when mathematics research is advancing rapidly, the EMS is proud to offer this new publication venue to mathematicians producing outstanding research, alongside its well-established Journal of the European Mathematical Society (JEMS) as well as the EMS Surveys in Mathematical Sciences. The collection's editorial board consists of Barbara Kaltenbacher and François Loeser, editors-in-chief of JEMS, Gerard van der Geer and Laure Saint-Raymond, editors-in-chief of the EMS Surveys, and Thomas Kappeler and Ari Laptev, editors of the EMS Monographs and the EMS Series of Lectures, respectively. Submissions are now open and interested authors are welcome to visit the webpage of the Memoirs for more information. All submitted works will go through a highly selective peer-review process. The Memoirs of the European Mathematical Society will begin publication in January 2022 and will be available as a subscription through EMS Press' Subscribe to Open publication model as well as for individual purchase.
