Abstract
This is a brief report on some of the highlights of the research supported by the EC Training Research Network Mathematical Aspects of Quantum Chaos, as described in my lecture at the 2004 European Mathematical Congress. The Network consisted of teams from Bristol (UK), Bologna (Italy), Paris (France), Tel Aviv (Israel), Ulm (Germany) and Uppsala (Sweden). It covered a broad spectrum of interests, from mathematics to theoretical physics. My focus here will be on a personal selection of some of the main mathematical achievements.
