This volume presents the outcomes of the workshop “Modeling, Analysis, and Control of Multi-Agent Systems Across Scales”, held at the Centro De Giorgi (Pisa) from 22 to 26 January 2024. The event served as a place for exchanging ideas, presenting recent advances, and fostering new collaborations in an area that spans multiple branches of mathematics.
The workshop objectives were two-fold. First, to promote scholarly exchange and establish new collaborations among participants, especially between leading experts and young researchers in mathematical analysis, numerical analysis, and mathematical physics with interests in multi-agent systems. Second, to catalyse interaction across different areas: modelling (in physics, biology, social dynamics), rigorous analysis (mean-field and hydrodynamic limits, well-posedness, stability), control (controllability, steering, optimal control), and computational methods (simulation, optimisation, uncertainty quantification).
