Abstract

The focus of the workshop was on recent developments in local systems in arithmetic geometry in the broad sense, including anabelian geometry. The talks covered results in complex variations of Hodge structures, -adic local systems, -adic Hodge theory with -adic local systems, and new insights into absolute Galois groups, with applications to rational points.
