Abstract

This was the ninth Oberwolfach Workshop on Computational Group Theory. It demonstrated the deep and interesting interactions between theoretical results and powerful practical algorithms in Computational Group Theory. It featured the introduction of the new computer algebra system OSCAR, which is expected to lead to a new generation of practical algorithms.
