Effective resolution of families of norm form equations

Abstract

We solve some parametric families of norm form equations using a method recently introduced by Amoroso, Masser and Zannier. We show that for all sufficiently large (in an effective way) integer values of the parameter, every integer solution arises from specializing a functional solution over $\mathbb{Z}[T]$. We find such functional solutions.
