Abstract

In this paper we study the Cauchy problem for the three-dimensional damped Boussinesq system with zero thermal diffusion. We show that the solution of this system with $1 \leq β \leq \frac{7}{3}$ is globally well posed if the initial data is axisymmetric without swirl.
